Mysore/Mysuru: The new Committee for the academic year 2020-21 of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers) Student Chapter was installed at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Maharaja Institute of Technology (MIT), Mysuru, on July 17.
Installation was held through a digital platform and over 60 participants were present. The dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr. B.G. Naresh Kumar, Principal, MIT Mysuru, Dr. S. Murali, President Maharaja Education Trust (MET), Dr. Mohamed Khaisar, Professor and HoD, Mechanical Engineering, MIT Mysuru, H.M. Sujatha, President, ISHRAE – Mysuru Chapter, Prof. G.D. Chethana, Faculty Advisor & Student Chair, ISHARE, Mysuru Chapter.
On the occasion, a talk on ‘Innovative ideas in AC products — Cool Helmets’ was delivered by guest speaker Kausthub Koundinya, Founder & CEO of Jarsh Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad.
