Mysore/Mysuru: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Diploma courses for academic year 2023-24 at JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled, JSS Technical Institutions’ Campus, Mysuru.
This Polytechnic was established in the year 1991-92 under the World Bank assistance scheme of the Government of Karnataka by JSS Mahavidyapeetha. This is the first Polytechnic in the country and only institute in Karnataka setup exclusively for the differently abled students. The following courses namely, Architecture Assistantship, Commercial Practice, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Jewellery Design & Technology, Computer Applications (Visually Impaired) and Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology are offered at this Polytechnic.
It also supports all the economically backward students in the form of scholarships from the Government up to Rs. 50,000 per year. Various extra and co-curricular activities are provided to the students in addition to the regular academic activities.
