Mysuru: A one-year UGC-sponsored Diploma in Nursery and Propagation Techniques will be conducted under the Community College Programme of Maharani’s Science College for Women.

Students having passed 2nd PUC can seek admission to the course. Unemployed graduates can also join.

Students will be taught cultivation methods, control of diseases, mushroom cultivation, bonsai cultivation, terrarium, landscaping, terrace cultivation, tissue culture, natural fertilizer and pesticide making and other nursery activities.

The classes will commence from June 19 and selected students will be given a stipend of Rs. 1,000 per month.
