Mysuru;  Kannada Book Authority (KBA) has organised a discount sale of Kannada books from Mar. 10 to Mar. 15 at Maharaja’s College premises in city. It will be inaugurated on Mar. 10 at 10 am.

Addressing a press meet here on Friday, KBA Chairman Dr. Nandeesh Hanche said that about 65 to 70 stalls will be set up for sale of books and there will be cultural events daily from  6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

Books published by KBA, Kannada Development Authority, Kannada and Culture Department will also be sold at the counters, he said.

The second Conference of Publishers will be held at the Centenary Hall of Maharaja’s College on Mar. 15. District Minister S.T. Somashekar will inaugurate at 10 am. Publisher T.S.  Chayapathi of Talukina Venkannaiah Smaraka Granthamaale, Mysuru, will preside. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.
