Mysuru: The District-level Athletics Meet-2018, jointly organised by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and Department of Public Instruction, will be inaugurated on Sept.18 at Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, by District in-Charge Minister G.T. Devegowda at 10.30 am.
Tourism and Sericulture Minister S.R. Mahesh will hoist the Flag. MLA Tanveer Sait will preside. MPs Pratap Simha and R. Dhruvanarayan, Legislators A.H. Vishwanath, S.A. Ramdas, Marithibbegowda, K.T. Srikantegowda, S. Nagaraju, R. Dharmasena, K.V. Narayanaswamy, K. Mahadev, L. Nagendra, B. Harshavardhan, Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah, Ashwini Kumar and Anil Chikkamadu will participate.
Zilla Panchayat Vice-President G. Nataraj, Health and Education Standing Committee President J. Achhutanand, Taluk Panchyat President Kalamma Kemparamaih, Vice-President N.B. Manu and others will also be present.
