Mysuru:  Zilla Panchayat, in association with the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, has organised a District-level ‘Yuvajanotsava’ for the year 2017-18 at Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium in Nazarbad here on Nov.26 at 10 am.

The individual contests include Classical Vocal and Instrumental Music and extempore talk. Group contests include plays, folk song and dance.

The participants should be in the age group of 15 to 29 years as on Dec. 31, 2017.

They should register before Nov. 25 along with ID proof and Aadhaar card with the Assistant Director, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Nazarbad, Mysuru. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2564179.

As the winners would participate in the State and National-level contests, the extempore talk and mono-acting would be conducted in Hindi and English.

The first two winners in individual events and the first prize winner in the group event will be eligible for the State-level meet to be held from Nov.30 to   Dec. 2 in Udupi.
