CM to launch Scheme at Kalaburagi

Mysore/Mysuru: With Chief Minister Siddharamaiah scheduled to launch the Congress Government’s ambitious ‘Gruha Jyothi’ Scheme (200 units of free power to households every month), one of the five pre-poll promises, at Kalaburagi tomorrow, District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will launch the Scheme in Mysuru at a programme to take place at Kalamandira on Hunsur road at 11 am  on Aug. 5 in the presence of Animal Husbandry Minister K. Venkatesh.

Chamaraja MLA K. Harishgowda will preside. Mayor Shivakumar, MPs Pratap Simha, V. Sreenivasa Prasad and Sumalatha Ambarish, MLAs Tanveer Sait, G.T. Devegowda, Anil Chikkamadu, D. Ravishankar, G.D. Harish Gowda, Darshan Dhruvanarayan and T.S. Srivatsa, several MLCs and others will be present.
