Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. L. Ravi, Reproductive and Child Health Officer (RCHO)and In-charge of COVID-19 Vaccination in Government Hospitals, Mysuru district, has been transferred today. He will be replaced by Dr. M.S. Jayanth, Chief Medical Officer, K.R. Pet General Hospital, Mandya district.
Dr. Jayanth had served as Health Officer of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) in 2019. Prior to that, he had worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Pandavapura Government Hospital, Mandya district.
Dr. Ravi has been asked to report to Office of Commissioner, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Bengaluru, till a new post is shown to him. Dr. Ravi was actively involved in the ongoing vaccination campaign and had arranged special drives for various sections of society.
