Divider of evils from morals

Sir,

Your Abracadabra with the title ‘India’s great reformer Modi’ is really very well thought of. Analysed very aptly about the article appeared in TIME magazine. So also the instant response from Shashank Gouri all the way from New York with clear thinking.

The path of Dharma is very critical. It is a razor edge. Only people like Modi can walk that path.

Much before he became Prime Minister, the Opposition had started abusing him and calling names. All the way he was tolerating. But how long?

I can quote an episode here from the great epic Mahabharata where Krishna tells Shishupala that his (Shishupala’s) 100 misdeeds will be tolerated but when he commits 101st he will be finished. So does he.

I feel Modi also tolerated the abuses hurled at him till recently and started attacking the dirty tongues.

Coming to Modi being a Divider. Why not look at it this way — divide the evils from the morals. Paritranaya sadhunam vinashaya cha dushkritam, Dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge [Meaning: For the upliftment of the good and virtuous, For the destruction of evil, For the re-establishment of the natural law, I will come, in every age]. You got it?
