Doctor’s gold finger ring stolen from home stay

Mysore/Mysuru: A gold finger ring of a doctor has been allegedly stolen from a home stay in city and a complaint in this regard has been lodged lately.

One Dr. Appanna Choteira, along with his wife Shobha, had taken two rooms on rent for four months at the home stay in V.V. Mohalla on June 20. On Aug. 8 at about 4.30 pm, Dr. Appanna, who removed the gold finger ring weighing 12 grams from his finger, kept it on the teapoy in the room and went for a walk.

When he returned at about 8 pm, he found his gold finger ring stolen.

Dr. Appanna, who informed about the incident to the Manager of the home stay, left for America on Aug. 17.

Meanwhile, home stay Manager Rajesh Kumar, has lodged a complaint on Sept. 2 and Jayalakshmipuram Police, who have registered a case and are investigating.
