Donate used text books to Vidyadaan-2018 Project

Mysuru:  Bharatiya Jain Sanghatan (BJS), established in the year 1985 under the visionary leadership of Shantilal Muttha, has been in the forefront of addressing national concerns in the areas of Educational Initiatives, Social Development and Disaster Response.

With a vision to collectively contribute towards nation-building, BJS has been conducting Empowerment of Girls training programme in several colleges in collaboration with Department of Education in Mysuru Region.

As part of its Vidyadaan- 2018 programme, BJS will be collecting used text books from passing students of 1st PUC and above and the same will later be issued to needy students. BJS will start collecting the books from Apr.1 and three more rounds of collection will be done on Apr.8, Apr.15 and Apr.22from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at the following locations:

Sri Sthanak Jain Bhavan, Halladakeri, Mysuru; Sri Terapanth Bhavan, M. G. Road;  Sri Kunthunath Jain Temple, Ittigegud, according to a press release from Prakash Srisrimaal, President (Mob: 9845247444).
