Dorothy Fernandez (86 years), retired teacher of Good Shepherd Convent and a resident of Vijayanagar, passed away yesterday following cardiac arrest.

She is survived by her daughter Carmel Ellis, son-in-law Wilson Ellis and grandchildren Joshua Josiah and Jochelle.

Funeral Mass was held at Virgin of the Poor Church this afternoon followed by cremation at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
