Mysore/Mysuru: One more person has surrendered before the Police in connection with the double murder case that took place on Yelethota Road in city on Sunday night over a property dispute.
On Monday, two accused, Dilip and Madhu had been arrested by Police. And on Tuesday, another person, Somesh alias Meese Swamy, also surrendered. With this, three persons have been held on the charges of murdering the duo, Deepak Kishan (30) and Kiran (30). All the three accused were produced before Court and have been sent to four-day Police custody for further investigation.
The Police sources said one of the accused, Madhu did not have any role in the double murder since he had brought two-wheeler and was present at the spot. On Sunday night, Kiran, Deepak Kishan and Madhusudhan were returning home after having Badoota (non-vegetarian food) and drinks. At that time, Meese Swamy came to the spot. Deepak and Kishan assaulted Meese Swamy and sent him. Then, Swamy informed his relatives who came to the spot and spotted Deepak Kishan and Kiran near St. Mary’s Circle. Another round of wordy duel took place between Dilip and Deepak. In a fit of rage, Dilip took out a machete and assaulted both Kiran and Deepak Kishan who succumbed to injuries.
