Double Olympic Medallist P.V. Sindhu enters wedlock

Udaipur: Double Olympic Medallist P.V. Sindhu entered the wedlock with her fiancé Venkata Datta Sai, a Hyderabad-based businessman, at the luxurious hotel  in Udaipur yesterday. 

Dressed in traditional wedding attire, the couple exchanged vows in presence of their families and closed ones.

Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was one among the prominent guests present at the wedding. The Union Minister shared the picture of the wedding on his ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) handle.

“Pleased to have attended the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu with Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening and conveyed my wishes & blessings to the couple for their new life ahead,” the Union Minister wrote on ‘X’

The newly-wed couple will be hosting a reception in Sindhu’s hometown, Hyderabad, today. The sangeet ceremony took place on Dec. 20 and haldi and mehandi ceremony on Dec. 21.
