Mysuru, Mar.2- MP R. Dhruvanarayan inaugurated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Samudaya Bhavan at Varuna village built under grants of Rs.50 lakh from Social Welfare Department, Rs.10 lakh from Kannada and Culture Department and Rs.6 lakh from MP’s Local Area Development Fund, here on Wednesday.

Speaking after inaugurating the bhavan, Dhruvanarayan said that this Bhavan has been constructed for the use of hobli people but others can also utilise its facilities. In the coming days simple mass marriages and dasoha programmes will also be organised here, he added.

The State Government is working to fulfill the dreams and ideas of Dr. Ambedkar and is the only State in the country to pass the Scheduled Caste Sup Plan (SCSP) and Tribal                                            Sub Plan (TSP) in 2013 for the welfare of SC, ST communities, he said.

Chairman of Housing Projects Vigilance Committee of Varuna constituency Dr. Yatindra Siddharamaiah, Taluk Panchayat Member Veena Gurumurthy, Varuna Gram Panchayat President Kantamma, Member Gurumurthy and others were present.
