Dr. Arun Kumar (48), an Assistant Medical Officer at South Western Railway (SWR) and a resident of Railway Colony, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning.
A native of Tumakuru, he was serving as Doctor at Railway Hospital for the past 15 years and was promoted as Assistant Medical Officer.
He leaves behind his wife Dr. Devatalakshmi, serving as Doctor at State Government Hospital, a son and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites will be performed at Muktidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage today.
