Dr. B.J. Ranganath (79), retired Professor at National Institute of Engineering (NIE) and a resident of Krishnamurthypuram, passed away this morning at a private hospital in city following brief illness.
He leaves behind his family members and a host of students, relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
