The Karnataka State Cricket Association will be organising Dr. (Capt.) K. Thimmappaiah Memorial Tournament in Bengaluru and Mysuru from July 22 to Aug. 6. KSCA Mysuru will be hosting Group B matches comprising of Mumbai Cricket Association, Punjab Cricket Association, Kerala Cricket Association and Gujrat Cricket Association. The matches in Mysuru will be played at SDNR Wadiyar Stadium and SJCE Ground.

This is considered to be a preparatory tournament for all State team before the commencement of Ranji season.

While the league phase will be played in Mysuru and Bengaluru, the two semi-finals matches will be held at Alur (1) and Alur (2) grounds respectively from Aug. 9-12 and the final at Chinnaswamy Stadium from August 15-18.
