Dr. G. M. Kudari (67), former Medical Superintendent of PKTB&CD Hospital, former Professor and HoD of Cardio Thoracic Surgery, MMC&RI, Mysuru, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning. A native of Gadag, he was residing at Vijayanagar 2nd Stage in city.
He leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. His wife had predeceased him a few years back.
Last rites will be held at Gadag today, according to sources.
Dr. Kudari retired from service on Jan. 31, 2014 and the authorities had extended his services. He had performed surgeries on Apr. 9, 2021 too.
MMC&RI Dean and Director Dr. C.P. Nanjaraj, PKTB&CD Hospital Superintendent Dr. Virus Akshay, K.R. Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Nanjundaswamy, medical and non-medical staff have condoled the death of Dr. Kudari.
