Dr. M. Somashekaraiah (92), a veteran freedom fighter and a retired Civil Surgeon of Cheluvamba Hospital in the city, passed away here yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife K.N. Sharada, sons S. Prakash (Civil Engineer) and S. Prasad (Advocate) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in Vidyaranyapuram here yesterday evening.
