Mysuru:  As per a government order issued yesterday, Dr. Nanjaraj, Head of the Department of Radiology, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI), has been appointed as the Dean and Director of MMC&RI.

The post of Dean and Director was vacant for the last two years and Medical Superintendent of Cheluvamba Hospital Dr. Radhamani was officiating as In-charge of the post.

It is learnt that three or four senior doctors were contending for the coveted post and the government has zeroed in on Dr. Nanjaraj after a close scrutiny.

Dr. Nanjaraj is likely to take charge in a day or two.
