Dr. Sainath Iyer (82), a resident of Damden Apartments on Hinkal Ring Road, passed away on July 30 in city.
Dr. Sainath was a Table Tennis player and was a National Champion in 70 years category.
He leaves behind his wife, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage yesterday.
