Bengaluru: Non- Resident Kannadigas in United Arab Emirates (UAE) will celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava at Heartland International School, Dubai Medan Nad al Shiba, on Nov.8.
It will be 16th Rajyotsava in Dubai and this year, Infosys Foundation Chairperson Padma Shri Dr. Sudha Murty will be conferred ‘Kannada Ratna Award for 2019.’ Sudha Murty will also be the chief guest for the event that will be held at 4.30 pm. Ambassador of India in Dubai, Vipul, will be the guest of honour. Army Officer Capt. Navin Nagappa, who had fought in Kargil war in 1999, will be another guest.
It may be mentioned here that last year, Kannada Ratna Award was conferred on Nityotsava poet Prof. K.S. Nisar Ahmed.
