Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah goes canvassing for father

Appeals voters to oust BJP

Mysore/Mysuru: “The State BJP Government has indulged in a series of corrupt practices. The people of the State are facing hardships because of the rising prices of essential commodities. My father, Siddharamaiah, as the Chief Minister, has done a lot of good works for the poor people of Karnataka. So, elect my father with a big margin in the coming Assembly election and support the Congress party,” appealed Varuna MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddharamaiah to the voters of Varuna Constituency.

Dr. Yathindra, who was on a door-to door campaign at Goddanapura, Maraluru, Yechagalli, Hallididdi, Tandavapura, Banchallihundi, Chikkaiahnachatra, Adakanahallihundi and Hebbya villages of Varuna Constituency on Monday, sought votes for his father, the Congress candidate for Varuna.

Dr. Yathindra launched a frontal attack on BJP and said the State government has indulged in corruption from day one. By committing irregularities in appointments, it has ignored the meritorious aspirants, he alleged.

“This is the last election of Siddharamaiah and we all have to give him a good farewell by electing him with a big margin,” appealed Dr. Yathindra.

Veerashaiva leader Y.K. Madappa, Siddharamaiah’s Personal Secretary M. Ramaiah, former Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Members Nanjappa, Revamma, B.M. Ramu, KPCC Secretary Gurupadaswamy, leaders Gowdike N. Madappa, Dakshinamurty, Krishnakumar Sagar, former Taluk Panchayat (TP) President Manjula Manjunath and others were present during the campaigning.
