Mysuru: As part of the annual Suttur Jathra to take place at Suttur in Nanjangud taluk from Jan.21 to 26, a State-level drawing and painting contest has been organised for school children at Suttur on Jan.25. The contest will be held under four categories with different themes:

1st to 2nd standard: Theme — left to choice of children.  3rd to 4th std.: Pet animals. 5th to 7th std.: Traditional dresses. 8th to 10th std.: Water conservation.

Quiz contest

As part of Suttur Jatra, a Quiz contest has also been organised for women groups of Mysuru city. The quiz will be on the topic ‘The life and messages of Mahatma Gandhi’.
