Mysore/Mysuru: In an intensified drive against the peddling of narcotic drugs among college students, the City Police have launched a QR code, with a strong appeal to keep the Police informed.
City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, who released the QR code, as part of Drug Free Campaign, organised by Narasimharaja Police Sub-Division, at Rani Bahadur auditorium here yesterday, addressed the Principals and teaching staff of various colleges.
Latkar asked the Professors to tip off the Police by scanning QR code, if they find any changes in the behaviour of their students. The college Professors, who will be regularly watching their students behaviour on campus, can swiftly notice any abnormal behaviour among their pupils. If the Police is informed, such drug addict students can be reformed and change their future for good.

This WhatsApp will be solely managed by the Commissioner herself, so there won’t be any compromise on the identify of whistle blowers, she assured.
