Railway Protection Force personnel will travel across different States and reach New Delhi on Aug. 14
Mysore/Mysuru: As per the directives of Director General, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Railway Board, New Delhi, the Mysuru Division RPF had organised a bike rally on July 1 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Rahul Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Mysuru Division, flagged off the bike rally from the premises of Mysuru Railway Station. About 10 Railway Protection Force personnel in 5 bikes will travel across different States and finally reach New Delhi on Aug. 14.
Speaking on the sidelines of the bike rally, Rahul Agarwal said that the bike rally is organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India’s independence which is being observed across the country. He exhorted to the participants to highlight and spread the message and awareness on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and achievements of Railway Protection Force.
Thomas John, Divisional Security Commissioner, Mysuru Division, Levin Prabhu, Senior Divisional Financial Manager and other Senior Officers were also present during the flagging off of the bike rally.
