Mysore/Mysuru: A hotel owner, who got fully drunk and slept in front of the bar, has lost his gold chain and mobile phone.
The incident took place on Apr. 21 night, which has come to light now.
The hotel owner, whose gold chain and mobile phone were stolen, is M. Shivakumar, proprietor of a non vegetarian hotel on K.R. Hospital Road in city.
Shivakumar, who watched KGF-2 Kannada movie at Sangam Theatre on Apr. 21 night, later went to a bar nearby and consumed liquor.
As it was time for the bar to close, the bar staff asked him to leave. But before leaving, Shivakumar, is said to have bought a bottle of beer, sat outside the hotel, where he consumed it and slept in front of the bar.
His friends Vijay and Vinod, who saw him sleeping in front of the bar, took him to his house and when Shivakumar woke up the next day, he found his 23 grams gold chain and his mobile phone missing.
Shivakumar, on May 9 has lodged a complaint and Lashkar Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
