Mysuru: Seeking fulfilment of its demands, Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samiti (Ambedkarism) will hold a Dalit Rights Rally at Bengaluru on Aug. 6.

Announcing this at a press meet here on Friday, DSS Convenor Ningaraj Malladi said the rally is aimed at protesting against the rising atrocities against dalits, depriving dalits of their food habits, discrimination against dalits and such other dalit issues.

The rally will be taken out from Bengaluru’s Town Hall to Freedom Park, where leaders will address the gathering, he said and added that more than 2,000 dalits from the district are expected to take part.
