Sir,
“It is the rulers and the Army (in Pakistan) that have made the majority of wonderful, affectionate Pakistani Muslims IRRELEVANT.” This sentence from your Abracadabra titled “Dumb India, Deaf Pak — Twain shall never talk?” of Aug. 25, 2015, reproduced in SOM dated Feb.19, 2019, stands very much Relevant even to this day. This explains the state of our neighbourhood since the birth of Pakistan, we may say.
It is also a matter of hope that “…, though talks may have failed for now. The hearts of Pakistan and India will not fail. No heart failure!” There have occurred various instances of cordial harmony but they hardly have made any news.
A great majority of the Indians look forward for “the educated new generation of Pakistanis” moving forward towards “paving way for Hindu-Muslim brotherhood as good neighbours.” You have stated it with certainty that “It is possible.”
I pray “Into that heaven of freedom, my father, Let my country Awake.” And I wish it to happen during our lifetime, so that we too can retain our faith in humanity !

Note: Into that heaven of FREEDOM our country has already awoken. Our prayer should be for Pakistan. We must also note that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken the initiative for talks (dialogue) with Pakistan soon after he came to power in 2014 but it was Pakistan Army that “sabotaged” the talks as reported in my article. —KBG
