DVS predicts fall of Congress-JD(S) Government in three months

Union Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda addressing press persons in Mandya yesterday.

Mandya:  Maintaining that the Congress-JD(S) coalition Government would not last long, Union Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda (DVS) has said that the coalition Government will slip into disarray over Cabinet formation.

Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Sadananda Gowda predicted that Congress-JD(S) coalition may not survive beyond three months.

Pointing out that Congress and JD(S) leaders had used unparliamentary language against each other in the run-up to the Assembly polls, he said that the Congress-JD(S) post poll alliance was a most opportunist one, solely aimed at grabbing power through back-door.

Asserting that the BJP which bagged 104 seats had the people’s mandate, he said that both Congress and JD(S) had betrayed the voters.

Discussing allegations that the Governor misused his office, Gowda said that the Governor was right in inviting BJP to form the Government as it was the single largest party.
