Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy case: BJP stages protest in Virajpet demanding K.J. George’s resignation

Virajpet: The BJP staged a demonstration in the town on Saturday demanding the resignation of Bengaluru Development Minister K.J. George, who has been named as the first accused in the FIR registered by the CBI in connection with the suicide case of Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy. The BJP activists, who gathered at the town’s Clock Tower, raised slogans against the Minister and later submitted a memorandum to Shirastedar P.C. Praveen.

BJP  Taluk President Arun Bheemaiah, leaders Suvin Ganapathy, Reena Prakash, M.K. Dechamma, M. Madhu Devaiah, Anil Mandanna and others took part in the protest.

At Ammathi: BJP workers also staged a demonstration at Ammathi in the taluk demanding the resignation of K.J. George.

The protesters, who gathered at the Town’s Main Road Circle, formed a human chain and burnt an effigy of the Minister.

Leaders Jappu Achappa, Sampath Kumar, Machimanda Vasanth and others took part  in the protest.
