Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy suicide case: BJP urges Minister K.J. George to resign

Warns of stalling Legislature Session

Bengaluru: The BJP has warned of stalling the forthcoming Winter Session of the Legislative Session at Belagavi, if Bengaluru Urban Development Minister K.J. George, who has been named in the FIR filed by the CBI in connection with Dy.SP M.K. Ganapathy suicide case, does not resign by then.

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Opposition Leader in the Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar said that George should resign on moral grounds as the CBI has named him as the first accused in the FIR.

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah should sack George if he does not resign on his own, he said.

The BJP will predominantly raise the issue in the Belagavi Session due to commence from Nov.13, if George fails to resign, Shettar added.
