Snehamayi Krishna says ED has launched detailed probe into entire MUDA scam

Mysuru: Even as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) intensified its probe into the massive site allotment scam by raiding the MUDA Office for vital documents yesterday, city-based activist and one of the key complainants in the case, Snehamayi Krishna, emphasised that the investigation covers entire MUDA scandal, not just the ‘illegal’ allotment of 14 sites to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife.

Speaking to reporters, Krishna shared that his complaint to ED highlighted the vast scale of the scam, worth thousands of crores of rupees, countering local leaders who claimed it didn’t fall under the ED’s jurisdiction. He added that ED took his complaint seriously, summoning him for evidence, which he provided. Following his submission, ED gathered further crucial records on its own, marking start of their comprehensive investigation.

He pointed out that scam, dating back to 2015, involved widespread illegal site allotments under the 50:50 ratio scheme.

Snehamayi Krishna reiterated that ED’s scope extends beyond the 14 sites allotted to CM’s wife and aims to uncover the full scale of corruption. Reaffirming his commitment to cause, Krishna vowed to persist in his fight until justice is served and all those involved are punished according to law.
