Mysuru: The D. Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited applications for distribution of financial assistance to students studying in various professional courses after seeking admissions through Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority under Arivu Education Loan Scheme for the year 2019-20.
A maximum loan amount of Rs.1 lakh per year will be sanctioned at 2% interest per annum for study of BE, MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BDS, BHMS, MCA, M.Sc Agriculture, other medical, dental, engineering, management and other professional courses. The sanctioned amount will be directly credited to Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) after seeking the admissions through CET immediately to the above courses.
Backward Classes Category -1, 2A, 3A, 3B (excluding Vishwakarma, and sub -castes, minorities and sub -castes, Uppara, Bestha/Ambiga communities) can submit the applications. Their parents and family income should not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakh per annum.
