‘Education should enable youth to face challenges’

Mysuru: “The youth should get the right education to effectively face the challenges in future,” opined Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. Vidyashankar.

He was delivering the address at the Graduation Day of All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) at its campus here yesterday.

Dr. Vidyashankar said that any degree would pave way for progress which should be effectively utilised by graduates. He opined that the transition stage from student life to career is very important to take the right decisions.

Speaking on the occasion, Manipal College of Health Professions (MCHP) former Dean Dr. B. Rajashekhar contended that graduates should continuously update with modern technology to keep pace with the trend in vogue.

Degree certificates were presented to 115 candidates. AIISH Director M. Pushpavati, Dr. Anil Kumar and others were present.
