Models of Vidhana Soudha, High Court, ATM attract visitors

An Educative Exhibition, organised by various Departments of Basudev Somani College in its premises was inaugurated by Dr. S. Shivarajappa, Director, Gandhi Studies, University of Mysore on Tuesday.

Prof. M.R. Soubhagya, Joint Director, Collegiate Education, was all praise for the efforts of the college. S.J. Hemachandra, Director of Employment Cell, UoM, H.N Nagaraj, Chairman & Managing Trustee, M. Puttaswamy, Managing Trustee and Prabha Puttaswamy, Trustee, all from the Institute of Education Trust; Dr. M.N Manoharan, Principal, Basudev Somani College, Senior Professors  Prof. N.S Venugopal, Dr. M. Mahadevaiah, Prof. B.M Ramesh, Prof. B. Sadashiva Bhat, Prof. B.C. Manjula and Dr. S.S. Raje Urs were present.

The charts displayed included various themes like ‘Life of Gandhiji’, ‘Employment Opportunities’, ‘AIDS awareness’, ‘Women and Child Labour’, ‘Kannada Sahitya’, ‘Consumerism and NSS’, ‘Shakespeare Literature’ and subject theme like Commerce, English, History, Kannada, Political Science, Economics.

Students also presented good models on ‘Vidhana Soudha’, ‘High Court’, ‘GST’, ‘Demonetisation’, ‘ATM’, ‘SBM Model’, Start- Up etc. Students and teachers of nearby Colleges visited the exhibition in large numbers.
