Mysore/Mysuru: Dawat-e-Islami Mysore has organised Juloos Mohamadi Eid Meelad Procession as part of 1,500th birthday of Prophet Muhammad on Sept. 5 and 7 in city.
On Sept. 5, the procession will commence at 2.30 pm from Masjid Azam Markaz Ahala Sunnath-wal-Jamath on Ashoka Road, which will be flagged off by Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff along with Ulmas, Arabic Madries students, after Fatha Khawni, Duwa (Supplications). The procession will pass through Sawday Road, Meena Bazar, Mission Hospital Circle, Eidgah Masjid Road and Pulikeshi Road to reach Muslim Burial Grounds where Fatha Khawni, Duwa and floral tributes will be offered. The procession will later continue via K.T. Street, Sunni Chowk, K.R. Park Road, Lashkar Mohalla and culminate at Masjid Azam Markaz Ahala Sunnath-wal-Jamath.
On Sept. 7 after Zohar Salath (Noon prayer) at 2 pm, the procession will start from Madrasa Faizan Kanzul Imam Masjid Ameer Hamza at Shanthinagar on Azeez Sait Road and pass via Masjid Shoudul Badar, Mohamadi Masjid, Al-Badar Circle, Rajivnagar, Nimrah Masjid Circle, Azeez Sait Nagar, Masjid Riyaz-ul-Janah, Kalyanagiri and Muslim Burial Ground Road, Ghousianagar and will return. Meelad-un-Nabi gathering
The Central Meelad Committee has organised Meelad-un-Nabi under the Chairmanship of Sir Khazi of Mysuru tomorrow (Sept. 5) at Meelad Park after Maghrib Prayers at 7 pm. MLA and President of Central Meelad Committee Tanveer Sait will preside.
