Eiffel Tower in Hebbal?

March 15, 2026

Sir,

As a resident of Hebbal 2nd Stage in Mysuru, it is a matter of concern to see a structure resembling a replica of the Eiffel Tower coming up suddenly in a residential area surrounded by a school, two colleges and several houses.

As a tax-paying citizen, I am worried about the safety of residents and children in the vicinity. How can such tall electric poles, resembling an Eiffel Tower, be installed in a residential locality?

Were the necessary permissions obtained for this installation, or has it been allowed despite irregularities? I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter and take appropriate action in the interest of residents.
