Nanjangud: A 60-year-old man has committed suicide by hanging self near the head tonsuring place (Mudikatte) at Srikanteshwara Temple premises here yesterday. The deceased has been identified as Narasimhaiah of Jettipalya village in Tavarekere taluk.
According to Police, Narasimhaiah left his home yesterday evening saying he was going to the temple where he had the darshan and later committed suicide near the mudikatte.
Nanjangud Town Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
