Mysore/Mysuru: City doctor Dr. Srividya was elected as the second Deputy Governor of Lions District 317A in the elections held  simultaneously in Mysuru, Mandya and Bengaluru on Saturday.

Dr. Srividya defeated her Suresh Ramu by a margin of 60 votes (235-175 votes).

Earlier last year, Dr. G.A. Ramesh was elected as the District Governor, while Dr. Prabha Murthy was elected as the first Deputy Governor.
