Election Commission appoints Observers

With the Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency going to the polls on Apr. 26, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has appointed Observers for the Constituency. Shahid Iqbal Choudhury (Mob: 94820-42877) has been appointed as General Observer covering all the 8 Assembly segments of the Constituency, while A. Suresh (94820-51577) has been appointed as Poll Expenditure Observer for Madikeri, Virajpet, Periyapatna and Hunsur Assembly segments and Yogish Mishra (94820-58477) as Poll Expenditure Observer for Chamundeshwari, Krishnaraja, Chamaraja and Narasimharaja Assembly segments.

Also, Manoj Tiwari (94822-09477) has been appointed as Police Observer for all the 8 Assembly segments of the Constituency.  Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury will be available for public between 3 pm and 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at VIP Lounge-2 in the new building of Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road.

Poll Expenditure Observers A. Suresh will be available for public between 10 am and 11 am on all days at VIP-1 room in old building and Yogish Mishra between 11 am and 12 noon on all days at VIP-2 room in old building.   Police Observer Manoj Tiwari will be available for public between 10 am and 11 am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at VIP Lounge-1 room in new building.  The members of the Public can lodge complaints by visiting them during these hours regarding any Model Code of Conduct violations or electoral malpractices, according to Deputy Commissioner Dr. K.V. Rajendra, who is the Election Returning Officer.
