Mysuru: With Assembly polls round the corner, the District Administration yesterday published the revised voters list of all Assembly constituencies in the district. Speaking to press persons at his office, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep said the latest revised electoral rolls of the district has been published as per the directive of the Election Commission.
Pointing out that addition of names in the fortnightly voter list (Mar.1 to 15) has been extended to Mar.15 in order to facilitate inclusion of all eligible voters, the DC said that there were 24,32,338 voters in the district, with the highest number of voters in Chamundeshwari Constituency (2,89,111) and the lowest in Periyapatna. He further said that the electoral rolls is published at the MCC Election Branch.
Earlier Randeep held meeting of leaders of all political parties at his office premises, where two copies of the revised voter list was given to each political party.
