‘Elephants on the Mind’ book released

Mysuru: Former Prasaranga Director Prof. C. Naganna released the book  ‘Elephants on the Mind’, an anthology of short stories written by K.B.S. Krishna at a programme organised by Mysore Literary Association at Rotary West Auditorium in Saraswathipuram on Saturday.

Later, Prof. Naganna, who spoke on the book, said that the writer had made all attempts to express his sorrows, pains and travails he had faced in his life in a dialogue style in his eight short stories.

He said that writer Krishna, who is the son-in-law of the city, basically hails from Andhra Pradesh. So far, Krishna had written more than 50 short stories besides many of his writings published in many international magazines.

The writer has said that the atmosphere of culture and literature that prevails in Mysuru is not seen anywhere else in the world. His works have aided to structure plays, added Prof. Naganna.

Mysore Literary Association President Prof. K.C. Belliappa, Secretary Reginald Wesley, author Krishna and others were present on the occasion.
