I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned towards the encroachment of public space along busy stretch of Mahadevapura-Rammanahalli Main Road.
The streets have turned narrow as shopkeepers expanded their stores onto sidewalks. Vendors place their wares on footpath and roadsides, severely inconveniencing pedestrians and two-wheelers on the main road.
Many people like me fear to walk or ride two-wheeler on these roads, with frequent traffic, especially haphazard parking adding to the civic woes on the road. The road dotted with many small shops and heavy traffic can soon turn accident-prone, if authorities fail to act in time.
I appeal to MCC Commissioner to look into the matter and take strict action against encroachments.
