The only Women’s Ashes Test between Australia and England ended in an exciting draw at Canberra on the fourth and last day today, with England holding on with its last wicket pair, successfully defending the Australian women bowlers.

Set a target of 257 runs for a win after Australia declared its second innings at 216-7, the English women  began the chase confidently, but lost wickets in the last session and managed to save the Test by a whisker, with the last wicket pair holding out.
