Mysuru: The GSSS Simha Subbamahalakshmi First Grade College (GSSS SSFGC), Metagalli, recently hosted the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme bringing together distinguished guests, experts and students to foster entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.
M. Shashi Kumar, Director of MSME Development & Facilitation Office, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India and K.M. Shivakumar, an internationally renowned yoga icon and personality development trainer attended the event. Rachana Mahesh, Founder of Edukare ITES, Rachana Industries and Womencan Charitable Trust, served as the resource person, sharing her valuable insights into entrepreneurship and women empowerment.
Dr. T.S. Rakesh, Principal, GSSS SSFGC, Mysuru, presided.
The session provided students with an exposure to entrepreneurial opportunities, significance of MSMEs in India and practical guidance on starting and sustaining businesses.
Shashi Kumar emphasised on the role of MSMEs in India’s economic growth, encouraging students to explore entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
Shivakumar gave an insight into self-discipline and motivation, key attributes for any entrepreneur.
