Entries invited by farmers for Agricultural Award

The Agriculture Department has invited applications for presentation of Agricultural Award (2022-23) to farmers from Mysuru taluk, Kasaba, Varuna, Jayapura and Yelwal Hobli.  For Taluk-level award, rain- dependent ragi crop cultivation farmers may apply while for District-level award, farmers who grow paddy crops may apply. Farmers belonging to SC/ST community must pay a registration fee of Rs. 25 while general category farmers must pay Rs. 100.

Farmers may obtain appli-cations from nearby Farmer Contact Centre. Last date to apply is before Aug. 30. For details, visit any Mysuru Taluk Hobli Farmer Contact Centre, according to a press release from Department Assistant Director H.B. Madhulatha.
