Mysuru: The Department of  Food and Civil Supplies has invited applications from bakeries, ice-cream parlours, chats and other snacks shop-owners to set up their  stalls at the Cake and Food festival organised as part of Winter Festival in city.

The Department has organised a three-day Cake and Food festival from Dec. 26 to 28 at Jayamma Govindegowda Kalyana Mantap on Udayaravi Road, Kuvempunagar.

A preliminary meeting to discuss the preparations of the festival will be held on Dec. 22 at 4 pm at the Office of Deputy Commissioner. Those interested may register their names before Dec. 22 by 3 pm and also attend the meeting. Travel Agents and Sponsors can also take part in the meeting. Chitra Santhe on Dec. 30

The Department of Tourism too has invited entries from artists for display of their art works at the Chitra Santhe on Dec. 30 from 8 am to 5 pm on Krishnaraja Boulevard organised as part of Winter Festival by District Administration.
