Mysuru: Sri Shivakumara Ranga Prayoga Shale, Sanehalli, recognised by Government of Karnataka, has invited applications for one-year Diploma Course in Theatre for the year 2019-2020 for SSLC passed and graduates.
Students enrolled for the course will participate and get enlightened on various subjects like Western, Indian and Kannada Theatre, literary traditions, Abhinaya, Aaharya, education through theatre with theoretical and practical sessions, workshops on traditional arts like Kalari, Yoga, Kathakali, Yakshagana, Kamasale, Hejjemela, Veeragaase, theatrical makeup, lighting, stage and costume designing along with vivid subjects like poetry, cinema and art. Later the students will stage at least four or five dramas.
Interview will be held from July 1 to 4 and classes will commence on July 15 for selected candidates.
